Pumpkin Recipes For Skin Care - No Tricks, Just Treats!

With Halloween coming I thought I'd post a few recipes for skin care that include pumpkin.  They are also homemade so they are less costly and they don't have preservatives or other harsh chemicals.  Pumpkins are also rich in Vitamin A, Vitamin C and Zinc which are all good for your skin.  They also smell so good and you will smell good too when you are done. You might also want to eat some delicious pumpkin pie!

Simple Pumpkin Mask
Use 2 teaspoons of pumpkin puree, add a few ounces of almond oil and spread it on your face.  Keep it on until it dries (about 10 minutes) then rinse with warm water.

Pumpkin Mask for Dry Skin
2 teaspoons Pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon of Honey
1/4 teaspoon of Whipping Cream

Mix the ingredients and apply to your face.  Avoid the eye area.  Let dry (about 10 minutes).  Then rinse with tepid water.

Pumpkin Mask for Oily Skin
 2 teaspoons Pumpkin puree
1/2 teaspoon of Honey
1/4 teaspoon of Cranberry Juice

Mix the ingredients and apply to your face.  Avoid the eye area.  Let dry (about 10 minutes).  Then rinse with warm water.

Pumpkin Body Scrub
1/2 cup of Pumpkin puree
1/2 cup of Brown Sugar
1/4 teaspoon of Cinnamon

Mix the ingredients in a bowl. Take with you to the shower and use a washcloth or shower gloves and start smoothing onto your body in circular motions avoiding your face.  Once done you can rinse off with warm water and your body will feel silky smooth.
